Saturday Afternoon Competition

The North Suburban Tennis Association's (NSTA) Saturday afternoon competition commences at 1.00 pm. Clubs are located in the northern area. For exact locations go to NSTA website.

Competition One

• Mens singles and doubles

• You can have 2 to 4 players each week

Competition Format:

• Player 1 singles up to 8 games

• Player 2 singles up to 8 games

• Doubles set 1 up to 8 games

• Doubles set 2 up to 8 games

Example: 2 players can play a singles and two doubles.
Example: 2 players can play a singles each and 2 new players can come in and play the doubles.
Example: 2 players can play singles and another player come in and play both doubles with each of the singles players.

Competition Two

• Mixed doubles

• Two men and two ladies each week

• Competition format

• Each player plays 3 sets:

  • Set one: Mens doubles

  • Set two: Ladies doubles

  • Set three: Man 1 and lady 1 mixed doubles

  • Set four: Man 2 and lady 2 mixed doubles

  • Set five: Man 1 and lady 2 mixed doubles

  • Set six: Man 2 and lady 1 mixed doubles
